Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast Roll-Up


  • Cream cheese

  • Cut up strawberries

  • Powder sugar 

  • Bread 

  • Rolling pin


  • Give each student a piece of bread, 2 oz of cream cheese, and about 2 cut-up strawberries

  • Allow some time for the student to flatten their bread with the rolling pin or their hands

  • Have them spread the cream cheese onto their bread

  • Then have them put their cut-up strawberries on their bread

  • Demonstrate how to roll their bread and have them try it on their own

  • Finally, place a toothpick to prevent the roll-up from opening

  • The teacher will cook them during nap time by dipping them in an egg batter, then melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet/pan over medium-high heat. They will add some roll-ups to the skillet, cooking until all sides are golden brown for about 3-4 minutes, adding more butter as needed. And topping it off with a pinch of powdered sugar.
