Cinnamon Sugar Easter Bunny Twists

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry sheet

  • Melted butter

  • Cinnamon

  • Sugar

  • White frosting

  • Parchment paper

Preparation

Step 1


Each student will receive 2 pre-cut puff pastry sheets.



Step 2


The student will apply some melted butter to 1 side on each of their puff pastry strips leaving a small gap on the ends.



Step 3


Then they will sprinkle some sugar and some cinnamon on 1 puff strip.



Step 4


Then they will grab their other strip and stack/place it on top.



Step 5


Using a fork they will crimp both ends of the stacked strips.



Step 6


With guidance, the student will twist their strip into the bunny shape leaving a gap 

  • To twist they will put their strip on a flat surface, then they will grab both ends leaving a gap in the middle, then they will put one end on top of the other twisting it around, and repeat one more time. (video reference) The ends will resemble the bunny ears & the gap the bunny’s  tail



Step 7


The teacher will bake their cinnamon sugar easter bunnies and add frosting for the students to enjoy
